Senior Commercial Accountant

Inc. Consulting is partnering with a forward-thinking professional services organisation to recruit a Senior Commercial Accountant to support the international operations across multiple key regions.

Role Responsibilities.

• Provide commercial financial insight and strategic support to senior leaders across multiple regions.

• Analyse financial performance, reporting on key drivers and providing clear, actionable recommendations.

• Influence decisions and shape strategy through confident stakeholder engagement and compelling presentations.

• Own key projects including pricing reviews, profitability analysis, process improvements, and financial system enhancements.

• Partner with Finance, HR, Procurement, and other business services functions to deliver operational excellence.

• Lead aspects of annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning with commercial insight.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, while embedding best practice across the business.

• The role also involves international travel approximately twice a year.

Person Specification.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong technical accounting experience.

• Experienced in finance business partnering or commercial finance, ideally within a complex, matrix organisation.

• Exceptional influencing and communication skills; able to engage and guide senior stakeholders effectively.

• Commercially minded and pragmatic, with the ability to translate analysis into meaningful business decisions.

• Ambitious and motivated, with a clear desire to progress into a Commercial Finance Manager role.
