About the Role
Inc. Consulting is delighted to partner with a well-established professional services organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner.
This influential role sits within an established commercial finance team, supporting senior stakeholders on pricing, profitability, and key client strategy initiatives. You will work closely with partners and senior leaders, providing insight, challenge, and commercially focused recommendations that shape important business decisions.
Role Responsibilities.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, enhancing understanding of client profitability and offering clear commercial insights and recommendations.

Partner with colleagues across business areas to support pricing governance and client strategy initiatives.

Prepare commercial models, pricing proposals, and alternative fee arrangements - interpreting proposals, assessing risk, and modelling scenarios to support informed decision-making.

Review existing fee arrangements, monitoring scope and profitability, and identifying opportunities to improve matter management and financial outcomes.

Work closely with client-facing teams to maximise value from key client relationships and support ongoing client programmes.

Produce high-quality financial insights, reports, modelling, and presentations for senior-level conversations.

Contribute to continuous improvement across pricing, profitability, and commercial processes, supporting improvements to tools, data, and ways of working.

Provide commercial guidance, training, and support to colleagues across the organisation.
Person Specification.

Solid experience within commercial finance, ideally gained in professional services, Top 10 accounting firm, or a comparable environment.

Skilled in analysing financial data, building models, and preparing concise, senior-ready reports and presentations.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence and presence to influence senior stakeholders.

Commercially curious, adaptable, and comfortable working with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Pragmatic and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and the resilience to navigate challenging conversations.

Able to build rapport quickly, challenge constructively, and maintain credibility under pressure.

Experience supporting pricing or fee arrangements is beneficial, though not essential where potential and behaviours align.

This permanent position offers a salary of up to £70,000, plus an annual bonus of up to 10%, alongside flexible hybrid working.
