When Inc. Consulting was founded in 2019, the aim wasn’t just to build a successful recruitment business - it was to create a place where people could do brilliant work and have a life outside of it. A place where high standards, ambition, and teamwork sit comfortably alongside flexibility, trust, and wellbeing.
We work hard here. We care deeply about getting things right for the people we support, and sometimes that means putting in extra effort, attending events, or going the extra mile to deliver for a client or candidate. But we also believe that if you give people autonomy, trust, and space, they’ll naturally find the balance that lets them do their best work. That’s why we introduced things like our 9-day fortnight and flexible working - so when you do put the effort in, you also have the freedom to take the time back.

You won’t find a desk-bound culture here. We’re out meeting people most days - catching up with clients, supporting candidates, and attending networking events. We regularly speak at events and panels, talking openly about everything from the realities of running a business, to neurodiversity, to female leadership, and we stay closely involved in the Sheffield business community through membership groups and local events.

- Hybrid Working: Our hybrid working model gives you the flexibility to work from home and from our office, a Grade II-listed former cutlery works, with on-site parking.
- Flexible Hours: We offer a flexible 37.5-hour working week. People work best at different times, and life doesn’t always fit neatly into a schedule. We trust you to manage your time around core hours, considering both business needs and personal commitments.
- 9-Day Fortnight: Every second Friday, we give you that extra time to recharge. On this ‘reactive’ day, you just need to keep an eye on anything urgent, and the rest can wait until Monday. It’s built-in breathing space so you can reset, recharge, and enjoy some time back.
- Enhanced Annual Leave: Our full-time employees start with 28 days of annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and closure days. We believe in giving you the time off you need to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work.
- Training & Development: We believe in continuous development. You'll receive regular one-to-ones, ongoing training, and tailored development to help you progress in the direction that’s right for you.
- Free Parking: We offer free on-site parking in our private courtyard. We also provide a pool of parking permits for use around the Kelham Island area, ensuring there’s always a spot when you need it.
- Death in Service: Hopefully, you will never need it, but we offer some peace of mind with death-in-service cover, providing four times your annual salary to your loved ones in the event of your passing.
